Winner will Receive a $500.00 Prize & Perform Before The Doobie Brothers on Sunday, September 4, 2011. 2nd Place receives $300.00 — 3rd Place receives $100.00
Auditions: Wednesday, June 22 — Pork Chop Dinner — Fairgrounds
Semi Finals: Friday, August 5 — Festival of Summer — Downtown Elkhorn
Finals: Thursday, September 1 — Walworth County Fair
Contestants must be able to attend all the event dates.
$10.00 entry fee per act. Entries must be received by Holton Manor no later than June 10, 2011 and is limited to the first 60 applications received.
This contest is for acts that are single vocalist only. All acts will compete in one division and must be 60 years of age or older by September 1, 2011.
The contest is open to all amateur entertainers. Persons employed by any of the sponsor's, Walworth County Fair, any W.I.S.H. facility, Kunes Country Ford, or WSLD are ineligible to enter.
All auditions and performances are in front of a live audience. Audience members are encouraged to observe and positively support all contestants. All lyrics must be memorized. No props, prompters, or note cards may be used.

Acts will be judged on: Musicality (pitch, timing, phrasing, tone); Vocal Ability (quality, expression, interpretation); Performance (stage presence, style, charisma).
Vocalist must use recorded accompaniment, provided it contains instrumental accompaniment only, some background singing may be allowed on the recording. Only a CD will be used no cassette tapes.
The winner will receive a trophy, $500.00, and a season pass for the next year's fair. In addition they will perform Sunday, September 4, 2011, before The Doobie Brothers.
