Patty & Marra Andreas, ”Keeping Memories Alive”, Elkhorn. There are many ways to keep memories alive whether it’s for a special event like a graduation or wedding or after someone passes away. Photograph albums, scrapbooks, stories told to one another, creating DVD’s picture collages, quilts and pillows are just some of the ways to keep memories alive. When our neighbor of 38 years passed away, I wanted to help the family in some way. I asked for some of the clothes, once they had gone through things, so I could make a memory quilt. The family was very generous in their giving of clothes, material and sheets. Stop by the Log Cabin to hear the rest of the story and what I did with what I was given.
